Integrated Software conducted its annual
Corporate Universe Users Group
conference on September 7-8, 2006 in
suburban Philadelphia. The conference,
which focused on training for the new
web based version of Corporate Universe,
proved to be a huge success.
Corporate Universe users from a record
number of organizations attended the
seminar. Corporate Universe Product
Manager, Marcia Wanish provided a day
long training session in the use of the
new software. Integrated Software’s Jim
Christ presented interactive sessions on
reporting and equity processing. The
program included additional material on
industry activities such as new security
regulations and upcoming changes to
industry regulations.
According to Wanish, "I wanted to
provide the Corporate Universe Users
Group members an introduction to the new
software and identify how it is
constructed to allow them to improve
their work environments”. The new
software is currently installed at 5
customers’ sites with over a dozen
customers in the process of upgrading to
the new software.
Carmen J. Klopping, President of the
Users Association, commented that “the
conference provided us a thorough
introduction to the new software and we
are excited about using the new
capabilities. Marcia Wanish and the
Integrated Software team did a wonderful
job”. Ms. Klopping is the Director of
Bond Services for the State of Kansas.
Additionally, Ms. Klopping announced
that Sheila Mayden was elected to the
Executive Board of the Corporate
Universe Users Association. Ms. Mayden
is currently a Senior Vice President at
the Bank of the Ozarks in Little Rock,
Arkansas. Commented Ms. Wanish, “Sheila
Mayden is a respected industry
professional and we are all looking
forward to working with her in moving
the association forward”.
